Junior School Choirs 11th April 2010 Prt2

Its now the turn of Parkinson Lane Community Primary School, Halifax to take to the stage, as they bring us an unusual version of Morning Has Broken. The melody for this number has been arranged by the choirs conductor Daniel Bath. The final choir this evening is Putney High School Junior Department who sing, Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace, conducted by Wendy Archibald accompanied by Svjetlana Zagorac on the piano.

@SmellyPoopism A large number of the schools in the UK are church schools. It is because of the long history of the country. The system works fine.

@pbeverlyshey My impression that you are not Christian was based entirely upon the attitude expressed in your post. To refer to words of praise that are uttered with sincerity by little children as "crap" is lacking in Christian Charity. Regardless of our opinion of Islam, we must remember that the only people that Jesus condemned were hypocrites, those who believed that they truly knew the mind of God and therefore had the right to condemn others. @MandyJMaddison Thank you for the information about India. I am an Indian and I have lived my entire life thus far. Me not being a Christian, yet again I am in awe you got that wrong too. Not a problem. I don't know how in the west, in India we don't desecrate GOD's praises before what is not conisdered god. Well, I am pretty sure that might be your perspective.
