9 ~ Mansard Roof

I'm so sorry I haven't made AMVs in forever. I'm just not used to having the degree of homework I normally have for school and all. I'm not dead, I promise..... And.. I just realized as I was uploading, I forgot my intro.. again xD;

Either way though, I realize this song is rather.... I don't know.. open to interpretation... The way I see it, in a general sense, is looking upon a sense of destruction, and death, such as a city full of garbage and concrete, but slightly overgrown and new. The person describing this scene is simply seeing it as it is now, and seeing it as a mere object without much thought as to what destruction has actually happened. The same point is applied to the last verse. The argentines collapse in defeat, but the admiralty simply counts home many remain. They exist as mere masses of objects moving accross a map, and their personalities, thoughts, and everything about them is looked upon as merely 2 dimensional, or in the song's case, a thin as paper. Because of this, our feelings of their deaths seem to simply slip away from us, as we never see the horror that'd actually went on. THis matches the up-beat feel of the song, as if life happily moves along. Of course, this is in a general sense though, not specifically talking about Argentines as the song implies. I just mentioned it in a general way so it'd tie in witht he video a little, I suppose you could say it's from the machine's point of veiw. They see their destruction and slaughter as nothing at all, and a simple act, rather than the killing of innocent people and the destruction of entire cities.Though.. at the same time, it's also from 9's point of view; he sees the horrors throughout all of this, as opposed to the machines...

..I'm honestly unsure of what you want me to say. xD

It was..interesting? I dunno.. You were right when you said (I think this is the word) it turned out odd.. But still good, I liked the beginning and middle bits. The color scheme was interesting.. Definitely unexpected but it fit it well.

I actually kind of like this song now... I'd heard it maybe once before(recently).. Guess it's a listen-twice sort of thing.

Either way, running out of room, you did quite well on this. ^^

Thanks for the comment Meta! Is there anything at the end bit that made it unlikable? Like something I could've improved on? And yes, i realize it's not abrupt enough of a beginning directly after the clip with 5 looking through the telescope at 9; I meant to put a flash there, but I don't know what happened...

Glad you like the song though! I hope you listen to more VW; their songs kinda grow on you over time.

@catwarriorsrock Well, I mean, those're just the bits that stood out most to me, I like it all. xD I don't personally see any problems with the video, other than what you mentioned, but I only noticed that just now once you said something, I wouldn't have before.
