I remember when NBC Europe closed down in July 1998 after 11 years on air (if we take into account the fact that it was Super Channel re-branded). I did not have digital satellite TV until 2002 so I did not get to see the NBC GIGA TV service; when I first got GIGA TV, all references to NBC had finally gone (including the DOG), and it was now a channel firmly dedicated to computing.

I remember watching NBC Europe in the United Kingdom in 1996, and the line-up was completely different back then. It included a news bulletin from ITN News called "ITN World News". Also the music in the background reminds me of the music they used to use on CNN International to promote "CNN World News".
