i love how all non americans on the comments keep complaining about wich of there planes are better.....all of them are 3rd and 4th generation fighters...cant you all just shutup and conclude that america has WAY BETTER aircraft and weopens....same with china, japan and russia. by the way why does this version of the f16 have those weird bumps were the wing meets the fusealage...all they do is create drag and slow the plane down.

I'm guessing that US doesn't want to enable conflicts in the middle east by supplying long range offensive weapons to both sides.

Saudi's have had F-15S for a long time and they are happy with it they just wanted an AESA radar installed.

But US won't do that and they won't do it for Israel F-15I either.

UAE should be happy it's the only country to ever buy a jet from US that is better than the current F-16 USAF is using. Block 60 is really advanced. And has a better radar.

For your information, I've lived in Dubai for 4yrs and I've got a cousin who's in the army, they have plenty of money but the point I'm making they can only use these f16 to defend themselves and not attacking another country. And what's the point?? Saud also is buying F15 but US won't equiped them with long range weapon system, so what's the point?

Shudra, Rafale's AESA is still in tesing phase and f 16's block 60 has full functional AESA
