good to see the art of metal shaping is not being used here. . . .just chasing. . . anybody with 1 day of training can do this. . . .

@Arnthorg, The stretch press is (in its own way) a power tool. It helps tremendously. I am not sure what other power tools could be used. We are, however, certainly open to any ideas!

@CarsInDimension Thanks for the link on your site. I'll check you guys out. Glenn at instapundit is a great guy. He inspired me to organize the first Tea Party in Utah. I spend a good chunk of each day calling, emailing, and persuading media and legislators to stop spending all the money.

truly an amazing video. How long did it take to make the fender?

@hennys63, It takes about 8 man hours to make the fender and 8 hours to polish it. This doesn't include the time digitizing the car, machining the dies, or making the stretch form.

@KirkhamMotorsports1 I am a tool and die maker, so I can appreciate the time digitizing the car and making the die. I find the way you did the fender, fascinating....very nice work
