my first school trip was to this castle aged 5 or 6 - we saw the dungeons, moat, portcullis & drew coats of arms - and had our picnic in the beautiful grounds - I was fascinated with the dungeon area! Then we visited Pevensey castle in Kent a month or so later.... and had our picnic sitting on black bin liners in a load of thorns, but Bodium was amazing!!! xD

i read about this castle becasue i find medivial times to be very intresting in the video he explains how enemys attacked it with boats and something about third degree burns but the truth is that the castle was never attacked

It's OK - luckily the enemies were put off by the sight of the romantic balcony and decided the call off the attack. Phew!!
