  • I feel a bit like Brian, lonely in a world filled with fools of al kinds who have a big mouth and give the orders.

  • ". Featuring the suicide squad."

Actually it features a mockery of racist zionism ruling Israel.

  • Could be because I never get tired of Eric Idle, but, looking at the various deleted scenes from their movies, I have the feeling that they often cut good scenes featuring Eric. Especially in the Meaning of Life (many of the deleted scenes have Eric in them and I thought they were all good, or even very good). This one is obviously highly controversial, and I agree that it is a bit too long, it would have needed a little re-writing, but I find it as funny as many other scenes that were included.

  • What idiot cut this. These scene cut is relict for religious hypocrisy which made to society and "watchdogs". These are not offending these scenes are funny.

  • jew nazis!!! funny thing is they are real.

  • how relevant for today Israel

  • Didn't really laugh much with this. I wasn't offended, but I didn't find it funny. Felt like they were trying too hard. Song they did while marching was good, though.

  • @PurushaDesa It was the entire Python team who decided to cut the Otto stuff. I've just finished 'Michael Palin diaries 1969 - 1979 - The Python Years'. Well worth buying, great book.

  • Terry Gilliam's a genius for designing that simple but effective Judean People's Front logo. It encapsulates the entire political statement of the Otto sequence. I suppose it's up for debate whether the ultimate reason for the scene's removal is pacing and comedy quality, or just self censorship. I say it was worth including, although I do recognise the level of controversy could've overwhelmed the discourse, resulting in narrower distribution, and distracted from all the film's other qualities.
