there was a player who was #1 on various ladders at the time(Snake) 2 years later I was able to beat him 1on1 having never played him before

in my day Quick, Shock and Cast were considered to be some of the top zp/reg players and when I mentioned them to someone recently they shrugged their shoulders and mentioned ph34r(which is where I got this movie originally)

in my experience the competition gets better over time not the other way around

for example I played 1on1 against a player from a clan that was undefeated in their day(MACK) and easily won the match and I was very inexperienced at 1on1 at the time

I know this because my European captain told me and he played against the top clans at the time and was part of an upcoming tournament but I didn't play with them because my pc was garbage at the time and I felt I would hold them back

my point is I've seen all shapes and all sizes when it comes to UT players so don't come to me with your STORIES of some supposedly good players who are beyond my comprehension

CB has the better competition from what I hear but I wouldn't know because I never joined

actually scratch that I did join because I was asked to a couple years back by a European clan but I never played with them

Ph34r(guy from this video) defeated one of the euro players regarded as 1 of if not THE best euro player ALL AROUND(not just IG) at the time so I find what your saying to be exaggerated at best

2 of my old clan mates(Jester[TG] and Wolverine[TG]) who were brothers were undefeated in 2vs2 ctf

many joined the ladder in hopes of dethroning them but no one was able to

never heard of NS

we were undefeated in TDM IG which I ran(but the competition was lacking at the time to be honest) and #1 in CTF in NA
