Beginning the rotation before actually jumping off the ice always results in a low jump. If you overbend the knee on takeoff, it just looks bad and never guarantees height. Gus Lussi taught me to jump. He is the person mostly responsible for modern jumping technique and I think this was a beautiful jump.

how does a skater get any height on a jump then if they don't bend there knees on the take off?!
-
@chapstickgurl1 Well not exactly, it actually looks nicer that way
-
she barely bends her knees on the entrance of her jumps. maybe thats why she was never a good jumper. no bend of the knees=no spring=no height=bad jumpss
-
but the harness actually really helps a lot, I am able to land my triple Axel easily by using it.

@timdanv3v And she too..see the video relationated, she´s wearing red

@xoalex914 I'm not even doing single jumps yet as I just started taking classes in January (at 30). Hopefully, I'll be starting single jumps in a year or so.
-
@timdanv3v Yeah like when? Her 4S at JGPF was underrotated.
-
The harness is an assist. It doesn't do the jump for you. It's more for confidence and protection than anything.
-
that was the way that I did my triple jumps, it helps you a lot!!
