Automags, Autocockers, New Players, etc

This video is NOT to bash on younger players. As a matter of fact, the young players are the future of paintball. I started playing when I was 12 years old. People have turned this video into a "young vs old" debate, and thats just wrong.

The point of this video is that if you are going to play paintball, there are certain things which are sacred to paintball, its history and it's future. Newer players, classic guns, the founders of the sport.

This episode I went on a little bit of a rant. Been alot of things pissing me off in paintball, and the disrepecting of classic guns and newer players is getting old.

This episode I talk about the classic markers like the Automag, Autococker, and why using these classic guns when playing newer players is a really good idea.

Paintball is dying, it's a dying sport. Companies are closing, teams are quitting, players are leaving, stores are closing, fields are closing, and the sport is in a death spiral.

We need to put our machine guns down every once in a while, invest in an old school mech gun, and show these new players that paintball is fun.

They are the future of the sport, you don't prove shit shooting a newbie up with a ramping gun, other than you are an asshole with no respect for yourself or the game.

We need to put some love back into paintball, and it starts with taking care of the new players.

its funny with him talking about kids becuase today i went out to a byop where its uncapped semi and 13bps ramp. Some dad decided to bring his son and friends out for a birthday party. I was on their team playing against some younger kids who were spoiled rotten shooting 3 pods in a 2 minute game of xball never taking their finger off the trigger. So for fun i but my droid on uncappped semi and took everyone of them out off the break and left the 10 year old kid run the flag in.

Im 14. Relatively new to paintball, not all that good, and have purchased my first setup with my own money. Before I did so, I did my research, and soon fell in love with Cockers. My first real, not crappy gun is a WGP 04 prostock with an E1 Eblade, a Bob Long barrel, and Im soon getting some CP upgrades to go with it. Ive shot alot of my friends markers. Eteks, minis, axes, and nothing feels as good and comfortable as my Prostock. Any newer player who bashes the classics should be punched hard.

I use a phantom(not stock class) or an automag rt. I have borrowed an ego from a friend and it just killed the game.  no one even wanted to shoot at me. your not showing off any skills playin against kids with a rental gun when you have $1000+ paintball gun. The problem with all the new players is that they don't get a starter gun. their first gun is $600+. the only thing they learn about paintball is how much paint their gun can sling compared to everyone elses.

Ok mike i love you and your videos but why so somber in this video and saying "im done with the sport"? it just doesnt make sense haha, we all know you will be playing this sport till the day you die.
