Gary Gygax is a legend amongst gamers, for he gave us Dungeons & Dragons. His vision, his imagination, his creativity, and his willingness to share it with us all has spawned countless role-playing games across the globe. He died the morning of March 4, 2008, but his spirit lives on. DDO... Dungeons & Dragons Online, Stormreach, is an MMORPG created in the image of Gary's well known game. He narrates Deleras Graveyard quest arc, which is why when the Sarlona server decided to pay tribute to him, they circled the main marketplace and went on to Delera's Graveyard to put Gary to rest. We will all miss him but never forget the tremendous impact he had on each and every one of our lives.

  • who's Gary Gygax , srry if i didnt know :(

  • @UnknownGamerX Gary Gygax was 1/2 of the team that first came up with pen & paper roll playing game systems using multi-sided dice. He is considered the father of Dungeons & Dragons and just really had an incredible mind when it came to adventuring. He has been involved in D&D and its myriad of revisions throughout the years including Dungeons & Dragons Online.

  • it's been a year and it still seems so odd to have lost such a great mind. you are still missed...

  • thanks for the compliments... it's really wonderful to hear how much Gary Gygax meant as much to you as he did to me. remember him well.

  • @MusicMan53100 they added it to honor him.

  • Was that grave (in the game) sput into the game to represent Gary's irl grave? Or was it just coincidence that it happened to be in the game?

  • @Dimitrij90 D&D is played all around the world, I know. Why we all gotta be hatin' on eachother? Why cant we all just sit down and play some D&D?
