  • Hey Nina,

your Information is good and your experiences may be great too but in my opinion it would impress more if you would practice the pieces befor playing it for a masterclass.

    Sry,

    Benjamin

  • Good point about Mozart. treating the Flute just like sung parts, so it's up to the player to act like a singer to really bring his vision to life. I love his horn concertos, but always hear the sonority and articulation that's the special reserve of brass. Mozart didn't really explore the unique qualities of flute the same way, but left plenty of scope for the player. The helpful tips here apply to nearly all of the romantic music up to the present day. Great tutorial to watch a few times!

  • what type of flute are you playing on?

  • Hi Nina. You should make two videos of yourself playing both movments when you have the chance. Your such an amazing player.

  • nina u did a good job, but creative symphony is differnt than bach , mozart or beethoven . add on if u can. thx

  • Hi, Nina! Working on Mozart's Concerto in D right now and your video has helped me so much! But I need some advice about how to clean the opening trill and C#-D ornament. Do you use the real fingerings for that? Obviously I have to practice it, but is there a way to make that sound cleaner (like yours lol). It is, after all, the first thing the judges/audience hears!

    Thanks so much!

  • you're so cute, i hate flute but i love watch you...lol

  • so beautiful
