I hope your family is okay! While I have experienced many earthquakes over the year in Los Angeles and San Francisco, I have never experienced one that lasted longer than 1 minute 37 seconds...incredible. I honestly do not want to experience the big one when it hits LA. They say neighborhoods in LA will be on their own for a minimum of 10 days, probably longer due to impassible roads. I wonder how many could survive for 10 days, food, water, etc...?
