PMR radios have better range than these in a built up area - The Intek H520 is a great handheld radio though, maybe the best! If used with an external antenna they match any multistandard CB on the Market. Prices do vary on these radios so do shop about i have seen them new for £99 with free delivery and as expensive as £150 in some places.

How long would the range be between two of these ?? I have walkie talkies that reach 10 km but i want Longer range...

Just bought one of these radios.. Hope it will perform well! I think it can be recommended to everybody. But how is the recieve/transmit quality, compared to a mobile CB station?
