Unattended Baby Killed By Puppy

2-month old Zane Allen Earles was let unattended in the home he shared with his parents, 18-year-old Tyler Craig, and mother, 17-year-old Linzy Earles and grandparents. At around 8 a.m. Monday morning, Tyler Craig left the residence. The baby's grandfather then left the home around 8:30 in the morning after putting Zane in an elevated, wind-up child swing. The only two people left in the house aside from the baby were the baby's grandmother and Linzy. Oh, and a 2 to 3-month old black lab.

At around 10:19 Monday morning, someone in the home called 911. When the paramedics arrived, they found 2-month old Zane Alen Earles dead. He had been mauled to death by the dog. While the death was an accident, investigators are now trying to determine how long the child had been dead, and how this happened without any of the family members noticing. The mother stated that they were at the opposite end of the house when the attack must have occured.

You people are telling a PUPPY to burn in hell? It's a puppy! It didn't realize what it was doing, and look at the title, "UNATTENDED BABY!" I don't care about the rest of the title, "Unattended baby." I'm not a parent, don't plan to be a parent, and even I know you DO NOT leave a baby unattended ever! Unless in a crib!

IIf you wanna blame anyone, blame the irresponsible moron parents who should have gotten that poor baby taken away by child services LONG before this ever happened.

I agree with those who believe that the puppy should NOT have been euthanized. I think that its disturbing how everyone just LEFT THE BABY. Ok so the puppy killed the baby ( IT IS A FUCKING TRAGEDY) but would a young puppy not attempt to play with a small loud moving object. Its the owners fault, the parents fault, the puppy was set up no other explanation is needed. They caused it to happen, they were not being a responsible parent or dog owner. Because of these idiots, two innocents are dead.

The dog should not be punished in any way for what it did, but isn't it possible that an event like this could yield a puppy that grows up to be a risky dog? I don't know the answer to that, but it is the only ETHICAL justification for euthanizing that puppy. Regardless, both of the parents should be sterilized.

News flash: The negligence of the parent's had much more to do with the death of that child than the actions of the dog. Had they not been complete dumb fucks, their child and puppy would be alive right now.

I have a 2 and a half month old great dane at the moment and theres not more then 5 minutes he goes without being in my sight or in his crate you think any ane person would leave there new born baby aone for almost 2 hours WITH the puppy who shouldnt even be alone that long there had to have been like 3 piles of shit in the room too being left in there that long and what did it do drown the baby with licks.
