Darn - That brings back memories. I used to live in Heston and on nights when the wind was blowing in the right direction it would carry the sound of the 02.15 train out of Paddington hauled by a 50 as it thundered through Southall. You could also hear the 37s as they left Southall Yard with the s**t train from Brentford in the early hours. English Electric locos always did sound good.
