i though k2500 were only diesels c2500 is gas right?

no k means 4wd you could get them with 5.7 7.4 and diesel, most all trucks had hydroboost if 2500

instead of engine vacuum to be used as a brake booster it uses the powersteering pump (hydraulic brake booster) they are great for engines with big cams or blower engines or diesels, in my opinion the best kind of brake booster system..

gotta love big blocks, iv got a 94 c2500 454, did the same thing today making a right hand turn on a yellow light, always scares the crap out of people haha

Martinez- it's because of the torq managment on those 8.1s.I have the 8.1 in my pickup and it's held back so much by the computer......sucks.....

@clonis well im only 14, so thats why i didn't go all out, but i pushed the gas a bit to much and spun the tires and drifted around a corner (i didn't get much angle because i was worried about screwing something up) but we have a suburban just like that but white, they have some serious power when you mash the throttle... i dont know about that one, but we have a 1995 suburban 2500 with the 7.4L 454 and 4x4... great all around truck... i love it!!! lol

That Suburban sounds good. I have an 04 3/4 with the 8.1 but for some reason it just doesn't run like my 98 3500 Chevy. I mean my 3500 with the 7.4 454 runs stronger and faster; you would think due to the bigger engine the 8.1 would run better. Both all stock.

Any suggestions why? anyone?
