Magnificent. And to think he had to work as a janitor during parts of his career to make ends meet. Not that there's anything wrong with being a janitor...BUT THE DUDE HAD OTHER SKILLS!

Willie Dixon on bass and Otis Spann on piano! Of course Lonnie Johnson deserves the best.
But what a shame that such an innovative/indispensable contributor to modern music could hardly live on music alone and should have died broke!
