@drastixxx As a girl who's currently going to RIT, i can say that the art department has the most girls for sure. If you're doing a photo major, i'd definitely suggest applying to live in Photohouse special interest housing as a freshman.

@drastixxx A majority of the girls I know are in the CIAS, but I'm a biology major so it's spread out. DeadMethod was right though, engineering is more of a flipped ratio. COS (college of science) is more even. Plenty of socializing :)

@drastixxx the whole CIAS building, especially the photo major, have an inverted ratio. It's like 3:1 girl to guy. You'll be fine. It's mostly the CS/SE/engineering majors that are wholly devoid of women, and they drag the overall ratio down.

As an alum, I have to agree the girls hide in the Art school.

@drastixxx i'm currently a Photo major, and there are pleeeennnty of girls in arts department. In my class, there are ~20 kids, and only 3 are guys.
