When oranges are plentiful, make a batch of this candied orange peel. It keeps for months and you can eat it as a candy, or chop it up and put it in cookies and scones!

  • Why is she not on food network seriously this is interesting

  • @mcldclaudia1 Ok this may sound stupid but...uh...well where do you get organic fruit? Do walmart have them O_O' See like you would have to go some where special to get fruit that does not have pesticide sprayed on them O_O

  • wow I LOVED YOUR VIDEO I WILL FOR SURE TRY THEM OUT I LIKE HOW WELL EXPLAINED UR VIDEO IS AND HOW U EXPLAIN THE PROCESS . GREAT JOB AND I WILL LOOK FOR MORE OF YOUR VIDEOS

  • Thank you so much for this video. It's clearly explained and it takes away the fear of trying this. I absolutely love the idea of not removing the pith outright and using a melon baller after the boilings. Thanks so much.

  • @asianbuzz1 There really shouldn't be any bitterness. Simmering the rinds 3x is super important, but also scraping away all of the white pith. Some oranges are also a bit more forgiving than others. If the orange is super sweet, sometimes the pith isn't too bitter. Congratulations on giving them try! - Cindy
