Apart from the Kennedys' support for government social programs, I'm amazed at how much RFK sounded like Ron Paul.
Ron Paul 2012.

Their compassionate, kindly nature and belief in God is why they are (in my opinion) with God. They cared about humanity, unlike many rich people who seem to care about only the bottom line. The bottom line doesn't mean anything if you don't take care of the people and animals. We are supposed to be stewards of this Earth.

Yes, brothers. Ted Kennedy, warts and all, did also fight the good fight for the common man. I love(d) them all.

@Boelcke1919 You mean "brothers", right? God Bless John, Robert, and Edward.

June 6, 1968 was probably the happiest day for conservatives in America. Had Bobby Kennedy lived, he very likely would have become president and our country (and the world for that matter) would be a much different and better place.

@theonlyone246 shut up you crazy racist,if being white makes you superior you definitely don't portray a superior character by making a FOOL of yourself with your bigotry. Get lost

I love you and miss you, Bobby. You will always be #1 in my heart. When the insiders killed you, they tore a large hole in the heart of America. 43 years later, it still hurts to the bone. I stll feel despair myself. This citizen loves you and hopes to see you in the hereafter. God bless you and your brother.

Look, selling all of his belongings wouldn't have solved the general poverty problem in America. Using his wealth to run for office and then as president deal with poverty would have made a difference and that is exactly what he was trying to do.

@93rardo What a lame excuse. How bout selling the mansion, downsizing, and giving the profits to the poor? Nice try
@iceaxe56
Isn't inspirational that people who had a privileged upbringing still have the imagination and compassion for the plight of the less fortunate.

I truly believe that Robert Kennedy would have gone on to make the world a truly better place had he lived to become President. Bobby's campaign showed that he really cared for the people of this country, unlike the campaigns of Presidents today which seem "fake". It's frustrating and saddening to see all of history's greats stricken down by the very ills they fought against. The work must go on, the cause must endure, the hope must still live and the dream will never die.
