There are NO errors in the Quran. People just like to twist meanings and make up their own interpretations as to what the verse means, if there is ambiguity about a verse then there are explanations from the Prophet (pbuh) explaining whatever he needed to in the hadiths.
And if there is scientific proof to contradict the Quran then i tell you it is science that has erred as it does on a regular basis, so we can't judge an inerrant book with an errant man made theory.
Good job brother!

@proudfemale Answer: Qur'an 2:256 There is NO CUMPULSION IN RELIGION. WHoever disbelieves in polytheism and believes in the Oneness of Allah, has grasped the most trusty handholdm that will never break. And Allah is All-hearer, All-Knower"
The verse is self-explanatory

@proudfemale well then give me ur proof don't just talk...give me evidence that supports your claim...show me the errors in the Quran...where does it say that we murder people for asking questions? SHOW ME!! and about illiteracy? did you know that Christians are bible illiterate? THEY DON'T READ THEIR OWN BIBLE they just listen to what priests preach they don't question they don't stop to say hey this isn't logical...Let me ask you this have you even read the Quran for yourself?
-
@kandousha 40% of muslims are illiterate
its irrelevant how often you read koran....it has ERRORS OF THAT ERA in it which proves the hoax of islam and how muslims are LIED TO
and re 1.6 billion muslims, MAJORITY of them are born into a ummah where right to choose whether to be muslim or not is denied them, controlled by taught fears/hideous punishments, totally brainwashed, and islam has MURDER as penalty for daring to criticise islam let alone leave it

Its a Shame when some people post videos about the Quran accusing it of contradictions. Yet when we corner them they start crying. They assume that Muslims are too ignorant. Well I hate to break it to you ppl We Muslims read the quran every day and unlike the Christians who bring out the bible on Sunday to go to church. There are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world MASHALLAH So are they saying that all of these ppl are misguided? JOKE

"When Allah built the sky, raised its ceiling, darkened its night and brought out its brightness, flattened Earth and extracted its water and pasture, planted the mountains, and all that to benefit you and your cattle".
I guess when Allah was writing the Quran he wasn't aware of creatures that existed before him, like the dinosaur and prehistoric man and that man started domesticating animals only about 6000 years ago.

@vaj99: Yes, but according to the book of Enoch, the fallen angels taught mankind all kinds of things. How to make metal, how to make certain drugs, the orbits of the moon and sun, about the weather, all kinds of things. I'm not impressed when people point to ancient knowledge and ask how they knew that back then, because really, it's only been re-rediscovered. Who care is the quran talks about mountain pegs? Whoopdy doo!

Earth crust is very thin, in compared to an egg its twice as thin as an egg shell! , The crus is split into tektonic plates. these mounbtains have deep roots which act like tentr pegs. it keeps the tektonic plates still.

So Muhammad the illiterate read th book of enoch?
You mention that mountains have pegs to keep the earth from shaking. But if these mountains are "pegged" into the same plates that are ever slowly moving, then how are they doing their job? Why does it say the earth is "level"?
Also, in Sura 18 Al-Kahf verse 86 it says that sun sets in a spring of murky water (I guess they agreed that murky would be best since clear water wouldn't make sense to why it's dark at night - the light would shine through). But we know that the sun orbits the earth.

I don't quite understand your first question. You're second question is an excerpt from a passage of story about Dhul-Qarnain. Things won't make sense if you read 6 words of a story would it? I recommend you read the story to have a better understanding. It is not literally saying sun sets in murky water, but rather what Dhul-Qarnain saw.

Actually i read the whole chapter. You say that it does not say that the sun was literally setting in murky water, but that it was what he saw. Ok fine. But then we can agree that everything this man "sees" is questionable (if not how he thinks as well).
As for my frist question, all i was asking is how do the mountains keep us from shaking if they are simply pegged to a plate that can itself shake. Are the plates pegged too? Also, why does it use the term "level"?

its not that what he sees is questionable. The words are illustrative, to help depict what is seen and how it felt.
For your question about how the mountains are pegged, I explained in my video... unfortunately I did not spend excessive time explaining geology, but you should understand the concept of plates and mountains. i'd recommend looking this up, but in short, plates are not pegged, they are mobile.
