This is one of those songs I never get tired of listening to. Spirit did release another song a number of years after this one called "Mister Skin". It didn't get far on Bill Board top 40 but it was great too.

Randy California drowned in the ocean while rescuing his twelve-year-old son from a rip current near the home of Bernice Pearl at Molokai, Hawaii. He managed to push his son Quinn (who survived) towards the shore. A hero and a legendary guitarist.

this song cool but hers the thing you don't here it on classic rock ,don't here it on oldies, i think its kind of lost ,this song holds up today ,its just great rock
