@rootboxen As I recall it was bill as by Mozart. This is roughly equivalent to confusing a Hostess Twinkie with the great pyramid at Giza.

I heard one of Brahms' string pieces on the radio a few days ago, I believe it was a quintet, and I knew at once that I had to hear more. I'm not particularly knowledgeable on classical music, only being familiar with a few of the most famous composers, such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, etc. But in my opinion, Brahms seems to have perfected string compositions to a level unmatched by any other composer.
By the way, Gene Roddenberry sure had good taste in music. I'm glad that he shared it.

Such a noble, virile theme. If anyone ever calls Brahms "academic" or "dry" in your presence, just have him listen to this magnificent sextet. It literally smolders with youthful ardor.
I used to dislike classical music, I mostly listen to hip hop :P but then I heard this piece in the Star Trek episode called "Sarek" and loved it. It is beautiful.
