Never try to be fake, or "more professional." You're dead on the nose exactly as you are. Make a sticky note to that effect. And add another note that if you dare to change I'll personally smack you upside the head.
You can also add a note that Ms. Ophelia smacks even harder than I do. Don't cross her. :-)

That "certain courtroom show sound effect" (in back to back stories, no less!) cracked me up! :)
Regarding the Heath Ledger "downer" at the end ... I do watch the Gnooze largely for the humor, but I'd tell you to not be afraid to be serious for a moment when it is called for, because your sincerity and personality always come across.

Thank you. I'm glad you think that it comes across because even when I've tried to be fake to be "more professional" I always fail.

Just as the 'g' in Gnooze is silent, so is the 'l' in the name 'Padilla'. Just exercising my annoying habit of mentioning unimportant stuff. You're GREAT by the way. Can't wait for more..

Hey thanks!!! Writing tonight/tomorrow's episode now. And the traditionally correct pronunciation of Padilla is indeed Puh-DEE-yah. However, in this instance, Jose Padilla has eschewed that pronunciation, preferring the (technically incorrect) pronunciation I used, PAH-dill-uh.
