I will always be a huge fan of every GT-R generation, but the GT is sexier than all of them, faster, and lets face it, if you have the money, the Ford GT will be one of the best street cars EVER. In my opinion the Ford GT destroys the GT-R, and in my opinion, fixing up each one, the GT would still be on top, their amazingly fast. GT-Rs will always be the canyon eaters tho. A gt will not be able to handle that nearly as well. BUT, the GT-R is about 90,000 LESS than a GT... makes you think..

The GT-R has been officially clocked on the nurbugring (It's the Vspec thats unofficial at 7:25) at 7:29 and even if the 0-60 is only 3.3, thats only a .1 difference still making it faster than the GT. Go to sites such as motor trend and look at the road tests, this will show you what the car is capable of. Heck, even top gear has a mini test on the GT-R. (Google search it)

No need to state the facts about The GT-R's stunning numbers to me, man. I've always loved skylines. I was just suprised at this test.

I mean you can do 0 to 60 test between the two. But its always gonna be faster on the GT-R because its awd. But ofcourse the GT is faster to 100 and 200mph.

just because you have AWD dosent mean you cant test a 0-60 against a RWD, the GT has more torque, more horses, and a higher top end... the GTR does corner better but not by a whole hell of a lot according to this video... IMO AWD is overated and is a wetblanket to performance... but i'm justa stupid kid :)

And you cant really do a 0 to 60 test between the Ford Gt and the GTR, because the GTR has 4 wheel drive, its supposed to faster here. And also, this guy listed that the ford Gt has 500hp, thats incorrect. The Ford Gt has 550hp.

I gotta be honest here. I've played gran turismo. I cant really understand some peoples point. When I test the Ford GT VS. the GTR. I always come out with a better time with the Ford GT, always. The Ford GT has more horsepower and less weight which is the biggest reason why it wins. The only advantage the GTR has is in corners because of its 4wd system. But its that big of an advantage because the Ford Gt is around 400 to 500lbs lighter.

U have a point; however, the Ford GT is not necessarily more powerful. I mentioned before that the GT-R has a very low gear ratio which allows it to outperform cars that are clearly above it so from the wheels to the pavement, the GT-R could have more power.

(i try to describe my view with poor english),i beleave you are a wise man knowing that sometimes figures not means everything,i think it's just happens to be gt's type of race.i wont say someones cheating in this test.hitting nurburgring at 7.29 is very fast but not means the car would be invincible.i would take this as a lighter and more powerful car might have it's vantage in this test.

I just dont get how the GT beat the GT-R because number wise the GT is beat in everyway except top speed and top speed isn't a concern in this test.
