A wonderfully nostalgic interlude film. There wasn't much action in these early 50s films, but that is part of their attraction today. They reflect a gentler less complicated way of life - when there was time to catch your breath and reflect before the next programme. It all seems light years away from the endless self promotion and hard sell of the TV channels today. But I'm afraid the marketing men have won - and TV is the poorer for it.
