Anyone who wonders if our veterans have earned as much care as we can possibly, as a society, muster should watch this video.

I would like to thank all of you for you thoughts and prayers for Erik. I have read all of the Post's to him and it brought tears to his eyes to know all of you are thinking of him. As his father I can tell you that he is a man who will never give up and will try to help veterans in any way that he can. His recovery will be long and painful but with his determination and faith and the thoughts of thousands behind him there is no dought in my mind he will become independent. God Bless all

Breaks my heart to see people reduced to these tragedies for the gain of a few. If Erik here isn't reason enough to get out of the situation in Iraq. Then we are truly lost.

I feel humbled having watched this - what an amazing message - my heart goes out to you Eric. Thank you for a truly human moment.

As a medical student, Erik, I can only hope after this disgusting administration is done with, we will actually do the right thing and fund well stem cell research (ALL methods not just the ones we want), to help you and possibly cure you of your brain trauma. It's the least we can do for you, for what you've done for us.
