  • Am I the only one who thinks Satisfaction is so so similar to this song??

  • I guess when Still's first heard the song he said the same thing.

  • such an awesome song

  • Great LP crackle.

  • respond feedback vibrate resonate

  • Ottis Redding wanted to record this according to Warner bros and the quotes in the book "Shakey" but Neil Young said no he was going to release it with Buffalo Springfield . Ottis was huge then comming of a number one single "satisfaction " the Stones number .Youngs tune and melody may sound a little like that tune but its much darker and Redding was not a fool

  • remember all those killer rock songs that you heard for the first time and u thought to yourself how can rock get any heavier and louder than this

  • @marmolparrao i totally agree

  • Yes.

  • Yes!

  • Anybody have the complete live recording of Mr. Soul featured as just a fragment on Neil's "Journey Through the Past" soundtrack?

Never heard the Springfield cook like they did on that ten seconds' worth.

    -BS and Neil freak

Love the part of Neil's East Indian lead on the recording here where it changes to major key.

  • For a while, when you can hear music like this is if you have a merciful local radio station who gets in the midnight DJ who puts on so much rare stuff simply for the sake that the "Oldies Police"/powers that be keeping such off the airwaves isn't up at those hours.(midnight to 5 am) This song was a big staple on those weekend nights/early morning.

Otherwise to hear it in the daytime all you got is college radio but that Junior DJ gotta know what you are talking about first...
