I'm sure you could get used to playing with the X Axis inverted, but that still begs the question, what would influence you to change it to inverted the first time and then stick with it!?
On another note, more people need to see this video. Easily one of the best on youtube.

LMFAO!!! I'm a YAI sufferer too, I blame it on those early days playing Goldeneye when the Y-axis was inverted by default :)
