Missing (Anakin & Obi-Wan)

"Missing" by Evanescence // Anakin & Obi-Wan (Star Wars)

This video was made before Episode III came out, using scenes from the trailers.
It's very angsty and I really liked the results, although now I wish I'd waited for the last movie to have made this vid.

But anyway, this is in no way a slash vid. This deals with how both Anakin and Obi-Wan view their relationship and how they both feel like there's something missing.
In Anakin's case, for instance, Obi-Wan is like a father to him, but no matter how much he cares for him, he'll always miss his mother.
As for Obi-Wan, he wasn't prepared to train Anakin by himself when Qui-Gon died (and I venture to say he didn't even want to), so even when he's become a powerful Jedi Master he still misses his own master's guidance.

So even though the song is overused, it was a very interesting concept to work with.

I agree. But you have to admit that Anakin should have trusted Obi-Wan more than Palpatine. But instead he went with Palpatine and lost everything he held dear to him. His master and best friend, Obi-Wan. His children, Luke and Leia. And more importantly the love of his life, Padme.

@spacecowboy5000 Killed what was left ? If Anakin was truly dead. He wouldn't have forfilled the prophecy. He wouldn't have thrown the Emperor down that shaft. It was Luke that brought him home. Luke was the New hope and the return of the Jedi. Order 66 ? Phhh

@P0mt3 It's more like the script writers should have looked up the word "continuity". And they did the same with some other characters. But he did lie in order to save the ones he loved. If he told Luke straight out, "Vader is your father" Luke would have run off without any training. And that would have ended our trip real soon. ''Darth Vader killed your father'' isn't even a lie. As Vader became more powerful he killed what was left of Anakin.

okay, maby Anakin/Vader did not say that he wanted Luke to have his lightsaber, but as i see it, what he meant was that if Anakin had been himself, he had wanted Luke to have it
