I didn't read the article nor do I plan to. There are war plans and contingency plans of a military nature for most every country the US deals with. They are constantly updated. This it what military planning does so if something happens in far off jerkistan, the plans can be taken out and reviewed. So everyone does not have to start from scratch. Military planning is very complex and it is wise to have contingency plans for number of troops, transport, logistics, intell, and communications.

Talking about the war in Iraq and not 9/11. If you truely believe Iran is not a major supplier of EFPs and Quds forces in Iraq you would be seriously misinformed. Just about every general in Iraq, as well as lesser ranking individuals are reporting Iranian made weapons in large numbers in Iraq, including the Iraqis themselves. Many (hundreds) of Iranian trained fighters have been captured or killed and many have told of thier training in Iran. What more proof do you want?

Actually that's not true 15/19 hijackers from 9/11 were from saudi. None from iran or iraq. The munitions that they said were from Iran turns out they weren't big news last week u should read. And there is no real evidence that extremists are being trained by Iran.

Sounds like posturing by Ron Paul. Its an old vid and since then it has been shown many of the weapons and insurgents were and are being trained by Iran. So in retrospect Condi was right on, the US has no plans to invade Iran.
