  • It's 1975 and 1976. I took what I had (so far) and put them together as this clip. If I get more I will add it to this clip.

  • me to. I also remember that they used to show movies in the cafeteria, and that the Ice cream machine often broke.

  • the pool (used to be there for hours!!! ) , the jungle behind my house, the school and the german music teacher. the choir at school was great. i remember a school mate that liked to stab a knife as quick as possible between his fingers.jajaa

  • The Pool is still there, a friend just returned from Liberia and he has a ton of pics of the old Lamco Mine and facilities. ArcelorMittal is re-opening the mine... and building a 2nd railroad to the Port.

  • Do you remember the amazing avocados you could pick from the trees around the pool. I remember it well. My father used to work in Yekepa. So sad to hear what happened after we left. We lived next to a rice farm and we used to go up in the mountains for BBQ's. I also remember the ladies outside the supermarket selling their fruit and veg. My first experience of Africa so lots of fond memories.

  • I remember this pool ! IT's so sad that it's no more, Yekepa was so fun!! I lived in Area F and went to the international school.
