It's interesting to read comments saying Eva had no 'right' to go the gala with Todd because she was involved with Cris. Since when does going out with someone equate to you as having sold your soul to them? I was under the impression that adult people have the right to make their own choices and that others should respect that right. Cris never did respect Eva's right to make her own choices and kept trying to control her. That is not the way independent, intelligent women want to be treated.

Todd was just a means to providing a triangle to Cris and Eva. That's it. But for me, it didn't work. I enjoy Todd and Van as friends because of their dynamic. But Todd's soulmate is Blair. His connection with Evangeline would never top his connection to Blair.

@agentAA08 Don't forget that in Vange was really IN LOVE w/ Cris, she would've paid that much attention to Todd like she did. Yes they were friends don't get me wrong. When she was w/ John, she gave John all her undivided attention. She didn't look at another man. John, the same thing. The fact, he paid attention to Gnat is b/c of his hero complex, needs to save ppl and Vange didn't need saving. She's a really woman, strong and independant. John couldn' handle her, but needed her.

love Vange but she did Cristian like John did her. John couldn't leave Natalie alone, and she couldn't leave Todd alone, and just like it cost John, it cost her. Know it's a little different and all, but still IMO it's practically the same. Her "nurse" spent months caring for her and helping her and the second she gets her eyesight back she just waltzes out of the hospital without telling him then says she's going to the gala with the one man he dislikes. That's straight up disrespectful.

Ok, I've seen the Crave videos many times. And it just hit me, Evangeline had no right going to this gala with Todd too. Crisitian is her man. What the hell was she thinking?! She could thank Todd for his generiousity in other ways. She gets her sight back and she wants to spend time with both of them?! F*ck that! My friends wouldn't see me for a few days because I would want to make up for loss time I couldn't see Cristian.
