@rory1494 Oh... I'm sorry. Do you work for Telsey&Co. (the people that cast RENT) I'm pretty sure you don't and you're not qualified to say who and who doesn't belong as a lead. You people on here disgust me and I hope you realize these negative "I know everything" attitudes will get you NOWHERE. As a performer, having someone say you suck or you're not right for a role is a BIG slap in the face and an insult. Have respect for all performers, they work hard at what they do.

"I don't FEEL her as Maureen, she's just NOT Maureen" UMMM last time I checked, none of you work for the casting company and do not in any way have the ability or experience to determine whether she is qualified or not to play a character in a Broadway show. @dramaking7777 She's not trying to be Idina Menzel. There isn't a rule in the script that says "Maureen must be played exactly like Idina Menzel. You MUST BE Idina Menzel and do everything exactly like her and sound like her". I saw Nicolette last summer and she was AWESOME. I didn't think I'd like her, but looking at an actor from an OPEN MIND not "OMG IDINA IDINA EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD SUCKS" made me realize she is a great actress and singer. So grow up.
