6000K Halogen vs Stock Halogen - 2004 Honda CBR600RR

Here's my $6.99 eBay upgrade. Was thinking about getting bluer ones (8500K) but decided to be safe and try these out first. 8500K were the highest halogens I saw on eBay. I really like these 6000K's. One of the only reasons I got them was because I thought the blue hue would go well with my blue bike; give it that nice little touch, and also to make it look better and cleaner.

Updates:

1: After having the 6000K's for a few days, I think I really like the subtle blue-white color. It has that classy, crisp look without going overboard with really blue headlights that just look stupid and will get you a ticket. I've read 6000K is the highest you want to legally go. Over that and you may get a ticket. So I'm really liking the clean, subtle 6000K look.

2: One of the bulbs flickered after I installed them and burnt out, but the seller on eBay said he'd send me another bulb, which was pretty cool. BTW, the blue film on the glass is very delicate and comes off very easily. I was cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide and a Q-tip because I thought I might have touched the glass/blue part with my finger and the blue was coming off very easily.

3: I received the replacement bulb from the seller. It worked fine for one ride but as I was coming back home the bulb wouldn't turn back on. So pissed the F off. I will probably end up getting different bulbs from another seller and hope for the best.

4: I ordered another pair of 6000K's today from a different seller. Only $6 on eBay. These better work. But I went to Wal-Mart and their regular bulbs, not even blue-white ones (don't even think they had any), were ridiculously overpriced. So I'll try my luck on eBay on another pair and hope they work.

Received the second pair of 6000K's today. I tested one and it works great! So relieved. From eBay seller: best_accessories
