@aaronm12345 same problem here and solved it: I guess you access your html from local file system. try to use localhost instead (see stackoverflow question id 1492942)

isn't working for me. did the exact same code in JS bin, but doesn't retain the text in Safari or Firefox. is it just chrome it works for?

@stupidclese look at the URL. It's jsbin dot com, that site helps you with the preview stuff. And yes, he could have skipped jquery at all and just use normal javascript.

wow great tutorial.. btw is it a HTML5 functionality or JQuery function ??? also why you used document.getElementById to target UL instead of directly using $('#edit').. is there any kind of advantage over using this kind of method ??? just egar to know about it broh :) .. and thanks alot for great video...
