(www.groovyuv.org.uk) The UV medium requires full blackout conditions (total darkness) plus specialist Ultra-Violet lighting from strip lights or lamps emitting only UV light frequencies.
Basically, under these conditions, the colour black is almost invisible whereas fluorescent or luminous materials are highly visible and seem to "glow-in-the-dark".
UV shows are essentially the manipulation of UV reactive (visible) objects within black (invisible) surroundings & can produce magical, astonishing & truly unbelievable visual effects.
