BRUTAL CHILD LABOR IN THE PHILIPPINES

Child labor is one of the many concerns in the Philippines and, most disturbingly, one of the most rampant problems we face.
The children are our future.
And yet, we find ourselves in a society where children roam the streets and do manual labor.
We find them with no families and with other poverty-stricken children as their companions.
Children are meant to be nurtured and loved but we see them with a stack of newspapers on one hand and packs of cigarettes on the other.
