nice video. I think about half of the airplanes on the carrier are for self protection as are most of the escort ships. The carrier is the heart of the navy's "Strike" theory. They think the enemy will have the beJesus scared out of them if we show how big the ship is. It is imposing and is a very large target however with all of the airplanes and ships sent to protect the carrier itself the ship is well protected IMHO..

Very cool. Esp. the last bit with the touch and go. Must take quick reactions to get that thing back to flying speed! Redo the audio maybe?
