Visitor to the Ice Mountain (New) 冰上山的来客. This is the new TV-Series based on the movie made in 1962. In 1951, PLA marched into southern xinjiang region, there were still a few KMT armies left near Kashgar, and there were also local seperatists movement. So this TV-series has shown the conflicts between the two side during that period of time. I especially like the music!!!

  • salam aziz barada...what is KMT???

  • KMT stands for (Guo Min Dang) Republic of China (Taiwan). Communist defeated KMT in 1949. This video described after PLA marched into Kashgar, they still faced a few KMT leftover troops and some local seperatists organization called "Freedom fighters".

  • I am just curious why you blocked me? Did I say anything that offended you?

  • Are those Chinese red army killing Tajiks and Uyghurs? They killed so many Uyghurs and Tajiks in 1950s.But thety called they "Libirated them" like they "libirated " Tibet in 1950s.

  • Hey stupid!!! Those people at the beginning were killed by KMT and East Turkestan Terrorists, and Chinese People's Liberation Army marched in to liberate those poor Tajik people. But actually, most of them were played by Uyghurs, you can tell by their lookings and names, they dont look like Tajik at all.

  • thunderboy23 你说的有一部分是正确的。但是你有听过"三区革命"吗?不懂历史就别在这里耍了。

  • 三区革命? of course, it should be called "3 party rebellion. Han people lived like shit during that period, but fortunately, we got that place back.

  • Happy new year

Who want to do online lesson with me?

    I remember this song

  • looks scary

  • Not sure why most actors are Uighurs rather than Tajiks. I just saw a travel segment on Chinese TV about Tajiks in China, there are plenty of Tajiks that speak Mandarin Chinese profiently. I am guessing the reason is that there are more professional actors who are Uighurs. The director is probably counting on the fact that most Han Chinese (targeted audience) won't be able to tell the difference.

  • Please anyone can tell me from where can I watch or Download this movie with English subtitle?

  • you need to get your eyes checked! cuz she's definetely not chinese! uyghur girls have bigger eyes and longer faces than the chinese!

  • Come on, The Tajiks are Iranians, not Turks

  • here's your army:half a tank dragged by a skinny camel,a broken AK-47 taken a quarter to load a bullet,a dozen of monkey-donkey-like diaper-wearing illiterate peasants and a opium-smoking logistic thieves/pimps.good luck!

  • Urrah

  • The story is about Tajiks, but most actors are actually Uyghurs, as they're more proficient in Chinese.
