Sasha hates going down stairs

Our puppie hates going down any stairs right now. She has no problem getting up stairs, but down is another story. Of course I don't want to rush her cause I could hurt her back. I also really don't mind having to carry her down the stairs ;)

Yes - that's cute BUT there's a reason that poor dog won't go down the stairs. It will destroy his / her back - please carry that poor animal down stairs if you love it (which I imagine you do)

Too cute! My Chi learned to hop down stairs sideways. Don't listen to people saying you should carry your dog down the stairs. They will teach themselves.

@Rudy1966 I had min. Daschounds all my life. At one time we had 5. going down or up stairs does not do any damage to their backs. Our oldest lived to be 20. This is a puppy and all small breed puppies have a fear of stairs at first.

it's best that she doesn't go up and down the stairs. build a ramp or something. stairs and jumping are really bad for dachshund's back.

lol. I love the cat at 0:30, rubbing the fact that she/he can go downstairs in the dog's face lol. Them stairs are very tricky.
