How to Playing Congas and Shakers Part 2

In this episode we will be explaining how to incorporate shakers into your playing (with congas). I am using three conga practice pads made of wood. This is a great way to practice when noise is an issue. We will be moving a little in reverse since the episode will actually be part 1. For now explore and study the exercises given in this episode. Quarter notes are primarily used in this episode however we will also discuss eight notes (on the conga) in the next episode of this series. I will explain in detail exactly what this means. There will be new episodes uploaded every Monday this summer and throughout the fall.
