@gapdog22 No, mastiffs are not leapers, it is a breed trait. Many of them low-crawl into bed. They also don't scamper as puppies, they gallop awkwardly.

It's like he's saying " Hey Dad, little help here?"

my Great Dane is 4 and still does that. he just looks at my and does a low groan i gotta grab his hind legs and help him up.. he can leap up just fine but every once in a while he gets lazy and wants attension.

If your bullmastiff is 2 and weighs under 100 pounds and at 9 months weighed 90 pounds and couldnt get in the bed its cause she was overweight at 9 months. Bull mastiffs grow taller through 1 year old but shouldnt start filling out really until over 1 year old unless overfed. As long as she is doing well now thats great but more than likely she grew to big too fast. shoulda cut back a bit on the food until later. muscle or not thats a lot of weight. Lucky. No harm no foul.

way too funny, great dog

dont make her do that, like some of the other people are saying, it isnt good for her hips, and i would know because ive had mastiffs for years and they tend to have hip/joint problems, so forcing her to do that is just wrong
Owww, her back legs hurt..

@gapdog22 what makes you think that?

This was when she was 10 months. She is now 2 and has no problem jumping on the bed. She is just under 100pounds and is mostly muscle. All big dogs can have hip troubles. We have english mastiff as well. Both dogs were rescues so they get spoiled quite a bit.
Sage is small for being a bullmastiff so it may look like this is a huge bed the way she got up there, but at this point she had no clue how to get up.

and yes bullmastiffs do drool. Most times its only after they get energetic or excited, after drinking. Ours doesnt drool tooo bad but we do have a towel handy always. Probably would not recommend for a first time owner being they are VERY dominant and do take some extra help when training for walks or introducing to new people but they are extremely friendly, great with babies and kids and have great hearts. I would recommend them to most people depending on living situation.
