Yeah, one of best pieces. The Frames are rare.

So glad I found this band through youtube. I had NEVER heard of them before as they get no radio play here. Such a great band.

First heard this song just a couple of months after this vid was recorded. He was at a Jeff Buckley birthday tribute, and in that context, this song just ripped my heart out, even more so than when he played "Neath the Beeches" which he wrote at the moment he heard of Jeff's death. By the time he got near the end where he sings louder, I was sobbing uncontrollably. Hugely cathartic. Soooo very lucky to have discovered Glen that night!

Sorry. Pretty daft of me not to look up Carney's wikipedia entry.
Still would be fun to see video of him when he was in The Frames.

Thier music reminds me of mountain rivers, and i think the chords in this song sound more blue and green, not red. Pretty though. Fair play to them!

Is John Carney playing bass here by any chance? If not where is there video of him playing with Frames?

@zhandoatosl no that's Joe Doyle on bass there. If you to see John Carney playing, search for a video called "The Frames - 'fish' Interview" @ 1:42
