Michael Jackson is fondly and emotionally remembered by his good friend, renowned promoter Don King in an exclusive interview with Greg Marotta on "The Natural" radio broadcast live on June 26, 2009, one day after Mr. Jackson passed away from apparent heart failure.

Mr. King discusses Michael Jackson and his impact and significance to all people as an artist, and in the context of family values, and in the African American struggle for equality, over a period of time ranging from segregation to the Obama Presidency.

  • So he came out of the dentists and heard on the radio that Michael Jackson had a massive heart attack. Then he gets home, turns on CNN and he gets the news that Michael had a heart attack. Ok...

  • haha, I read that some time ago when Don King and the Jacksons got to know each other, one time when Don King started to talk about something (probably about himself when he was supposed to promote the Jacksons) and Michael said to someone "Could someone shut that man up?!"

  • Hahahah Mike hated Don King. Love how all the creeps come out of the woodwork to get some publicity out of MJ even in his death.

  • Nice comments by don king no matter what!! He did make an Amazing contribution to mankind and any attempts to denegrade or de-humanise him is pure folly!!

  • good interview

  • Don King = biggest bitch on earth

  • Mike said Don was a CROOK! and that HE COULD SUCK MY SOCKS!!!

  • Interesting, but I hope you know that Michael did NOT like Don King at all. It's true.

  • Great post.

What does Greg say one of the most 'visible' in the world? Why did he miss out LaToya?

I agree he was so strong despite they tried to dehumanise him.

  • Great post. Thank you so much.
