The final phase of comparative side by side sword testing on the Valiant Armory Kriegschwert, Hanwei (Tinker Pearce) Longsword and Darksword Armory Black Prince and Archers Sword.

Each sword was tested on a steel pole, and all actually held up extremely well. Swords were then tested edge to edge, with the Kriegschwert and the Tinker Pearce Longsword proving to be slightly harder steel than the Black Prince and Archers sword, which was something of a surprise.

  • I beleive that steel pole or what ever it is, is why the tip on the tinker two handed sword bent, pretty sure the tip rammed into it, so yeah it would roll up like it did. It wasnt designed to peirce steel plate.

  • Man I got much respect for you, and your site. And I know why you do the destructive tests. But I mean it must kill you to ruin your swords for the better of the sword community lol mucho props to you good sir.
