2.2L fuel-injected, turbocharged inline-4...that's what every Shelby Charger had. It could have been called the Dodge Shelby Turbo Charger (pun intended).

@mrceleb2006 not every shelby charger had a turbo... the 83 and 84 cars were carbed cars... in 85 they introduced the turbo i believe and they were only ever intercooled on the 1987 GLHS... but i used the pun as my old AOL screenname lol thanks for the view!

This car is truly magnificent, its fast, mean sounding with the right exhaust, and its really fast, no one knows what your packing in these things. And they are cheap to buy and cheap to make fast. I could run 13s for around 2000$! You 68 charger people don't know this car at all apparently. People always try to bash this car, well, at least tell they own them. Once you own one, you will love them forever! Swear to god!

He man get a muffler, I'm a ford guy all the way, and even I know Shelby was involved in the daytonas 85-91 Shelby did Daytona and spirts so don't argue yeah it's not a 69 charger but fixed and tuned pound for pound faster than many muscle cars. FACT!! I had a 85 turbo z that would cook ws6 5.0 and vetted till 140 and topped out at 162.5 4cyl baby motor
