@TheLordAwaked Why would you say that about God's Word? The Holy Spirit brings all truths to us.Whether you are reading the NLT or KJV or ESV. If your reading anything other than Hebrew or Greek, your reading a translation. And without the Holy Spirit, their just words on a page, whether its old English or a Modern Translation. When you make a judgment like that, you put your mouth on God and His people He used to create this translation. I read the NLT and KJV & love and learn from both.

Different versions for different people depending on our personal preference. Works for me!! NLT and TEV are great versions. I also get in my KJV moods so i keep one handy, but soon lose interest cause i cant understand most of it. And it also was written in "Yoda style". Sounds like Yoda from Star Wars wrote it. Yoda talks like the KJV reads which can be confusing to some.

the nlt is good for people who need a good understanding of what the meaning is by saying it in a much more modern way but it is definitely not a good Bible for a detailed study

haha, English is hard to understand? Our laziness is making it easy for satan to confuse us. Grab a dictionary. its not hard. The NLT is a watered down version of God word.

I got my new Life Application Study Bible NLT Second Edition yesterday it's amazing.
