How to reset your Windows password

I made this video to help those who forgot their password, or has children that change the passwords around. I hope this video helps!

The version used in this video was 3.3 build 321.

What do you do if you know your password but it doesn't let you type it? I have both XP and Vista and, just today, experienced a very brief power outage while in XP. XP still works fine, but when I try to start in Vista, it doesn't let me enter my password. I type one letter or number or anything and black dots spread all across the password bar. Does that sound familiar at all? I've never experienced any problem like this before.

@IggyHazard Try waiting a few minutes for your keyboard to become recognized. If it doesn't, try using a friends usb keyboard and use that to login. Eventually your main keyboard will register once xp loads up completely.
